Well thought out interior spaces blend seamlessly with the contour/character and natural beauty of the site.
The owners dreamed of creating a secluded farmhouse-style home in the woods where they could live in comfort only a few steps from nature. The lot, heavily wooded, steeply sloped, and boulder strewn, had been in the owners’ family for generations. Because of the owners ties to the land it was decided to use the land as the theme behind the design. After taking into consideration the views, rock and tree formations, and how the sun moves over the property, the home was sited to set atop the slope, about 600’ from the road.
