It became clear quickly, when asking opinions of contractors and others within the community, that Hanover had a reputation that surpassed other competitors hands down. With it now being close to the time Hanover will hand me my keys, I can say with overwhelming confidence that I chose the right builder to construct my dream and not only meet, but exceed my high standards. From the salesmen I met the first day I walked through the doors, to the numerous contractors, foreman, administrators, and CEO, I feel as though I am leaving a close knit family that nurtured me with the guidance and patience, and impeccable service. They helped me achieve my greatest accomplishment and investment to date.
Hanover’s employees have gone above and beyond my initial expectations, always responding to my questions with promptness, listening to all my ideas to offer savvy financial solutions without sacrificing quality, and always standing behind their word with action and full engagement. Our first meeting was with Chuck Boyd who guided us through the process. His knowledge of the process, from permit applications to the construction phase, was extremely helpful. He was very patient and addressed our every question, which we are certain that he has heard on numerous occasions. We are pleased with his guidance, suggestions and recommendations regarding layout and upgrades.
The next contact was Tony Scalzo, the ultimate professional, who supervised and directed the completion of our well constructed house, which we now proudly call home. His people skills are unequalled. He is a man with a busy schedule who entertained our every concern with calm and confidence assuring us of their satisfactory and positive conclusion. His attitude and demeanor left us confident that our house would be well constructed and completed in a timely manner.
Our primary concern was the completion of the construction of our house with an established target date, due to the expiration of the lease agreement of our apartment. We were somewhat apprehensive of the established target date (many of our friends and acquaintances, with some construction experience, assured us that we would not meet that date).
We received our “Certificate of Occupancy” on week prior to the promised date.
The office staffs of Angie and Rachel were extremely polite, patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process.
We proudly show our home to family and friends.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with my home. My family and I moved in to our home in August 2008 and I love it more and more each day.
I have to commend you for having a great staff. I have to commend you for having a great staff. Chuck Boyd was our sales representative. He really understood our needs and concerns when we were trying to make changes. He also has great patience especially when dealing with customers.
Tony Scalzo was our Construction Supervisor; he was GREAT. I appreciated his honesty and condor. I was able to call him at anytime and he always got back to me in a timely manner. He is very personable and thorough. When I did not understand why things were happening, he took the time to explain everything.
Angie Fanelli helped us select our materials and kept us updated throughout the paperwork process. She was also a big help. Your outside contractors were also great. My father must have talked about how great your framers were for weeks. Neil (your painter) did a great job. Having two young children, I was so glad to have the entire house painted before we moved in. Neil’s suggestions were right on target, and I am so glad that I listened to him.
I find myself constantly recommending Hanover Homes to anyone who is interested in building a home. I have gotten so many complements on my house, you guys would be so proud of yourselves and you should be.

One year ago my fiancé Tina and I started talking about building a house. We were undecided who we wanted to build it for us, or the style we wanted. My parents had your company build one for them in 1978. I was raised in this house and never thought it to be anything other than a fine home.
After checking around and comparing prices we walked into your display house and met Mr. Steve Kurland. We had a discussion with him about what we were looking for in a home. We were very happy with the professionalism he showed, as all our questions and concerns were answered. It was very easy to make the changes and get pricing for everything Tina and I could come up with. Often times I felt like a royal pain, but Steve treated us just and kindly and professionally as the first time we met. In fact we were so pleased with the treatment we received; there was no questions who we wanted to build our home.
Soon after finalizing the plans and doing the paperwork, I met with Mr. Tony Scalzo. Right from the start of construction I felt comfortable with him. He was prompt and courteous withal the questions and concerns I had with the home. Tony made himself very accessible in case there was anything that came up. He also kept me on track with how the progress was going. I knew when everything was going to happen, before it happened. Tony was very knowledgeable of the house construction, and portrayed this knowledge to me whenever he had a chance. No question went unanswered.
I was also very happy with all the subcontractors you use. The quality of the work performed was outstanding. I have done construction before, as well as members of my family and close friends. Nobody could find anything wrong with anything. The mason, to the framer, to the roofer, the siding guys and so on. Great work. They should all make you proud, ask they did me. The level of professionalism portrayed by them is very high.
Tony was able to have the house done just in time for Christmas! Only 6 months passed. This was great as I had family from far come and stay in my house. We had Christmas Eve dinner there, and it felt great to hear all the compliments from friends and family on the house, especially the kitchen. Everything came out perfect.
I recommend Hanover to everyone I can. We are very grateful we stopped in and met with Mr. Kurland that cold winter night last year. We recommend your company to anyone who is considering a new home. My parents are still very proud of their home and in 30 years from now, I am sure we will be just as proud to say Hanover Homes built our!

Having never built a home before, we had a few bumps in the road during construction and confusing moments, but this was, and should be, expected. However, now that we’ve been in our home and have met and are watching our neighbors go through this process with a variety of builders, we realize the quality and professionalism that was provided through your company and did not want it to go unnoticed.
As neighbors share their building stories about……. other builders, we can honestly say — we have none to share!! After a year we have no complaints or problems and are extremely pleased with the quality of the home you have created.

When the idea first came up, we were very worried about the whole process and everything that is involved with building a new home. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon on a whim at your showroom and before we knew it the whole process was started.
Before long, Angie and Chuck became the recipients of at least one call a day with all kinds of questions. They were the ultimate professionals guiding us along through this very intimidating process. Once we broke ground, Tony and Chris were there on our every whim explaining and answering all our questions without hesitation.

The Oxford II home is not our first stick built house or our only experience with the construction process. As such, we recognize quality work when it is consistently performed.
My initial unscheduled meeting in your office convinced me your product, prices and pride was the way for us to reach our goal of obtaining an affordable home to live out the rest of our lives in. I appreciated the time you took from your busy day to answer my questions without trying to sell me anything. I felt I was treated in a professional manner by a professional.
The professionalism continued with our meetings with Chuck Boyd, who’s patience helped us choose the right house and lot at the right price. His efforts enabled us to secure several loan quotes at low rates. Another professional, Angie Fanelli, applied her excellent people skills to help us choose the right accents. Our time together was never rushed by Angie, even though our meetings came at the end of her busy day.
Special mention is reserved for project supervisor, Tony Scalzo. From our very first meeting, Tony responded to every inquiry or request. He never failed to return calls made to his cell phone, including weekends. He paved the way for site visits and meetings with each craftsman. This permitted us to see the construction from the inside out. Tony was invaluable to the success of our new home being built. Tony is clearly a valuable leader of the team of excellent builders.
At the risk of sounding like paid advertisement for Hanover Homes we feel master craftsmen did a masterful job on our house, from start to finish. Thank you and your people for all the hard work done on our behalf.

We recently built our new home in Blueberry Hills Estate; this is the third new home we’ve built since being married in 1963. We just passed our first full year in our new home and I’m happy to say that we have not had a single problem with any part of the construction thanks to Tony Scalzo, construction manager. Every one associated with Hanover from planning to actual building has been a pleasure working with.
Our total gas bill for the first full year for heat & hot water has averaged less than $90.00 per month due to the Green Technology and Construction Techniques Hanover uses.
