The President

Today and for the past 30 years, Joe Peterson has been building homes and light commercial projects throughout Northeast PA. His early professional interests in mechanical engineering and architecture has given his home construction company a distinctive edge in business. A graduate of Temple University and a long-time resident of Allentown, Joe has served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Building Industry Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania, a board member for the Luzerne County Housing Partnership, Vice Chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Northeast and Central PA, is a Life Director for the Pennsylvania Builders Association, and Director for the National Association of Homebuilders. He has served as the 2006 and 2007 Regional Vice President of the Pennsylvania Builders Association. Presently, Joe represents Pennsylvania as a NAHB National Build-PAC trustee.
Recognizing the importance of building Green Joe earned the NAHB’s designation as a Certified Green Professional in 2008. At that time less than 45 builders in PA had earned the Green Professional certification as it requires a considerable commitment of time, effort, and an understanding of the core principals of the NAHB Green Building Guidelines.
In February of 2010 Joe’s considerable impact on the construction industry as a whole and his service to the PBA and local community over the past three decades was recognized when he was awarded one of the association’s highest honors. Joe was named the 2009 the Pennsylvania Builders Association statewide Builder of the Year.
